Work on your weaker body parts first

Work on your weaker body parts first

We all have some areas of our body that are weaker

It varies between everyone as some people have weaker parts than others.

But I believe you should start off your weak training a weaker body part first

Or a body part that you don’t care to train as much.

For some guys that would be legs, ha-ha….

Alright but seriously, get used to the fact of training those areas first.

Because whether you neglected that specific area

Or you're genetically just weaker there

You should want to make it a strong point.

I remember when I first started lifting weights, I neglected working out my legs.

I would work them out every two weeks instead of every week.

Well, about 6 months or so, maybe a little more later, that started to show.

This quickly became a no-no for me.

And the funny thing is now I enjoy training legs which I do twice every two weeks.

And if your someone who has to play catchup because an area is underdeveloped

If your regimen and body allow it, you can even do that body part twice a week

I remember in my mid-twenties I wanted to grow my biceps even further.

Even though I get a great connection on working out my biceps, I found it was harder for them to grow compared to other areas.

My triceps would always react well, but my biceps would always lag behind when I had compared them to proportioning of other areas.

So, like every other middle-aged male gym-goer loves to do.

I worked out my bices twice a week

But I didn’t just do any exercises

I focused one more day on heavier weights then transitioning to lighter weights for that session.

And on the time for that week, which was three days later,

I would AT MOST start off with a heavier weight but focus more on static reps.

Throughout the workout, I would just make sure my form is good as usual,

And then focus on reps.

And then sometimes near the end, I would add in 2 or 3 static holds.

My biceps over time started to grow and finally go them to a point where I was happy.

It took me longer to get them stimulated and grow them,

But eventually, they came through.

And now they’re not too shabby.

So, my suggestion is to focus on that weaker or neglected body parts.

Especially if you suck already at engaging that muscle.

Continue to work on it and grow it.

Over time you’ll get used to doing it and you’ll notice it’ll build certain character in you.

That, even though you don’t enjoy it when you work on your weaker body parts first and you see the results come in, you’ll be more inclined to do things you don’t enjoy doing.

So…I know everyone has one, what’s one body part that you neglected or was just weaker
