Stop purposely choosing to do less than You Know You Can Do.

There are so many people I come across that do less than they know they can do. And I’m not just talking about their fitness and health but about their entire life.

 

I am a firm believer that you need to do all you can do to become something more than you currently are. And what that is, is for you to decide and understand as your life is your journey. But you are meant to grow. Whether it may be little or a lot, growth is always in the cards for everyone.

 

Every time I have ever wanted to amount to something, it required me to become more than what I currently was. To learn or understand new things concerning what I was doing. To challenge my thought process of what I currently knew. That happened quite a bit when it came to fitness and also regarding me being an author. And anything good always came from that because the satisfaction of growing and becoming more always produced the fruits of my work.

 

But I know what some people may be thinking. Well, what if someone is legitimately happy just having the life they have right now. Well, that’s fine too. But you had to do some growing to get there though. You see, doing more than you know is always going to benefit you.

 

It's about even the small things in daily life as well. I am for trying to grow majorly year after year but there is nothing wrong with the micro things as well.

 

Even things such as learning pottery, understanding how to grow a garden and grow herbs or vegetables, picking up a trade and becoming good at it, etc. Learning anything new is a form of growing. But as I said above, a person’s journey in life is always different for them, but I do believe that the person should be growing in some way shape, or form.

 

So, by not wanting to do the things you need to do to get better at your current task with whatever it is, you are only hurting yourself. The only person that is going to suffer from this is you and also possibly your kids and wife and/or your immediate family. Because the stronger you become the better it is for them as well is what I believe. The more you grow in all areas of your life through, love, financial means, community, and spirituality as an individual, will only allow strength to spread to other people as well.

 

But it has to be you who wants to make that happen. If you stay stagnant and never want to grow in anything, then you will forever feel bored and then ultimately possibly gain depression. So stop purposely choosing less than you know you can do and feel the positivity of the effect of growth when you choose to do more.
