The One day Adds to Many

The One day Adds to Many

Here are some things to follow that can help ensure your fitness success.

This literally translates to how to get your goals accomplished when it comes to fitness

It doesn’t matter if it’s about losing weight.

Wanting to shape your physique.

Build muscle.

Understand and learn nutrition.

Gain flexibility.

Help your mobility.

Whatever it is, it literally takes one day at a time.

I always get asked how much weight I can lose in this amount of time

Or how much muscle I can gain by this time.

And although there is a rough estimate you can give someone.

The truth is not everyone is built the same.

You might not lose the amount of weight you think you should lose by a certain time

You most likely won’t gain the x amount of muscle you think you should by that time.

Setting goals are fine but don’t get discouraged when it doesn’t happen.

You have to just keep at it and the results will come in.

1 - Another factor that people overlook is their nutrition.

Some people eat healthy yes but how many calories are you really intaking.

There are healthy foods with a high caloric intake and since everyone’s metabolic and caloric maintenance is different you might not be losing the weight you think you should be losing.

2 - The other is your form.

Which everyone knows I am so strict on.

Your form matters a lot and how to perform an exercise will determine your muscle growth over time.

Your mind-to-muscle connection and contraction play a big role in the long run of things.

Performance is everything.

3 – almost everyone overlooks their flexibility

This is a big one because it ties into how you will be able to properly engage in your exercises.

And also your recovery time as well.

Almost no one stretches or foam rolls and that’s not a good thing.

Iv said many times before, we are all slowly dying as we get older.

We don’t regenerate as fast and therefore our body tends to get weaker and tighter

Stretching and foam rolling obviously won’t reverse this, but it can definitely slow it

And if you are someone who doesn’t have good flexibility then you definitely should be incorporating this every day.

4 – add in cardio

It doesn’t matter if you building muscle or losing weight

Add in cardio

You’ll drop the weight faster if you do cardio.

And you won’t lose as much muscle as you think if your goal is muscle maintenance.

That’s why you have to make sure your nutrition is in a good place.

The only way I don’t give someone to do cardio is if they have a very low body fat percentage with next to little muscle.

And their goal is to build a physique.

Other than that, get on that treadmill or go for a run

Or play sports.

Basketball, soccer, swimming.

They are all forms of movement and therefore will be a good cardiovascular exercise.

And the most important thing.

Cardio is good for your heart.

The most important muscle needs to be taken care of.

So just remembering that it's one day at a time in order to keep seeing the results.

And when it's appropriate to do so, create progressive overload to keep challenging yourself.

There are no 10 rules to success that will ultimately work for everyone.

And it will take you more than just doing the things I listed in this written piece to become what you want to personally become.

But doing these basic methods day in and day out, every week sticking to a regimen will help put you in the right direction.

That being said, do you try to keep a weekly practice of health and fitness?
